NALFA WELCOMES IFCII AS NEW MEMBER, STRENGTHENING INSPECTION STANDARDS ACROSS THE INDUSTRY
Springfield, MA – April 29, 2026 – The North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) is pleased to welcome Institute for Floor Covering Inspectors International (IFCII), as its newest member, expanding the association’s expertise in inspection, training, and industry standards.
Founded by industry leader Henri Carr, IFCII has played a critical role in elevating the standards of flooring inspection through hands-on training and field-based expertise. With a focus on accuracy, integrity, and unbiased evaluation, IFCII has trained and mentored inspectors nationwide, equipping professionals to deliver clear, defensible, and technically sound inspection reports.
“Our goal is simple—raise the standard of inspection across the industry by giving inspectors the tools, knowledge, and confidence to do the job right,” said Henri Carr, Founder of IFCII.
IFCII’s work aligns closely with NALFA’s mission to support consistent product performance and strengthen confidence across the laminate flooring industry. Their focus on inspector education and standards development supports greater clarity and accountability throughout the inspection process.
“NALFA is proud to welcome IFCII to our member community,” said Tom Wright, President of NALFA. “Their leadership in inspector training and commitment to consistency and accuracy strengthens the work we are doing to support trusted standards across the industry.”
NALFA continues to welcome new members from across the laminate flooring value chain as part of its commitment to education, testing, certification, and collaboration. Recognizing new members reflects the association’s ongoing growth and reinforces its role as the leading authority for laminate flooring standards in North America.
