Robert McColl is the owner of McColl’s Inspection Services and has been actively involved in the flooring industry since 2001. He specializes in forensic inspection and failure analysis across a wide range of floor covering types, including laminate, hardwood, resilient flooring, and carpet systems.
Robert provides independent, impartial inspection services using current manufacturer guidelines and recognized industry standards, including NALFA criteria, to evaluate installation practices, site conditions, and product performance. His work focuses on identifying root causes of flooring failures and delivering clear, defensible reporting for manufacturers, builders, retailers, and end users.
He holds multiple industry certifications through FCITS and maintains active memberships with leading industry organizations, including NALFA, NICFI, and WFCA.
